George’s legal and public service career has spanned more than 30 years. Most recently, he served for eight years as Connecticut’s 24th Attorney General. During his tenure as State Attorney General, he advocated on behalf of Connecticut and its citizens to protect the public interest, ensured that state government acted within the letter and spirit of the law and safeguarded the rights of the most vulnerable citizens. George is recognized as a national leader on data privacy, antitrust, consumer protection, health care and environmental issues.
